UFCW 951 is Your Union

At some point in your employer’s history, workers decided to improve their working conditions and gain a voice on the job by forming a union.
At some point in your employer’s history, workers decided to improve their working conditions and gain a voice on the job by forming a union. They elected to join the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 951, which is why UFCW 951 represents you and your co-workers today. Your union represents members’ interests at work by negotiating and enforcing your contract. UFCW 951 also advocates for government policies that support workers and their families.

Over 33,000 working men and women across Michigan belong to UFCW 951. Members work at Meijer, Kroger, Harding’s, Polly’s, L.M. Foods, Knouse Foods, Rite Aid, Orchard Grove Extended Care Centre, Fry Krisp, Valley City Linen, JBS, Pearson Foods, and Healthcare Services Group.

• Extra pay for extra working hours
• Paid holidays and paid vacation
• Seniority rights
• Fair treatment from management
• No discipline without employer proving just cause
